Sat Nov 15th 12:30 pm  to 1:30 pmWorkshop: Arranging Tunes Together: Try Out Ideas and Techniques from FódhlaArranging traditional tunes doesn’t have to be complicated — it can be creative, fun, and make your music shine whether you’re playing in a session or a small group. In this hands-on workshop, Fódhla will share accessible ways to add color and variety to your sets. We’ll look at how dynamics, phrasing, and pacing can shape the flow of a tune, and how harmonies, countermelodies, and chord choices can give it new depth. Guitarists will pick up fresh accompaniment ideas, while fiddlers and other melody players will try simple strategies for variation and interaction. Together, we’ll experiment with arranging a set, showing how small touches can lift the music from ordinary to memorable. Bring your instrument and get ready to explore new possibilities for the tunes you already love.
